A Brazilian-American admirably adapted to life in the United States. A Language specialist with expertise both in interpretation and translation in English and Brazilian Portuguese languages, as well as knowledge of Creole Portuguese (Cape Verdean Creole) and Spanish. A Medical Interpreter certified in the State of Massachusetts and extensively trained to interpret in all industries, including but not limited to, hospitals, courts, immigration, financial, insurance, and many others.

Member of ATA (American Translator Association), IMIA (International Medical Interpreter Association), NETA (New England Translator Association), and CIOL (Chartered Institute of Linguists) based in London UK and a published translator, she carries thirty plus years of experience in the language field. She is the co-founder of LCS-Linguistic Communication Services, a private professional linguistic services agency with office located on Cape Cod, MA where she, her business partner and subcontracted professionals provide first class translation and interpretation. 

Passionate about life, she is also a proud advocate for the vulnerable and disadvantaged, starting her philanthropic activities at a young age in Brazil. Marineti is constantly contributing to society in many ways. Always involved with the local community and its needs where she is well known for her language abilities and resourcefulness. She frequently volunteers her skills at a local church where you can see her providing consecutive and simultaneous interpretation from Brazilian Portuguese and English. She is also a working volunteer board member of the NEWF-New England Wellness Foundation. 

Her passion and energy are channeled through activities she enjoys, including hiking the many nature trails around Cape Cod. Marineti is an animal lover and has two rescue cats, Mimi and Puma.
